What is Google Business Profile (f.k.a. Google My Business)?
Google Business Profile is a free business listing from Google. It allows you to provide details and photos of your business, including your location, services, and products.
Having a Google Business Profile is a great way to increase your visibility across Google services. Information from your Google Business Profile may appear in Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Shopping. A Google Business Profile is ONLY available if you have contact with customers, ie; a service business.
It is a free service by Google, but fairly complicated to run, manage and set up properly, but when done correctly, it can dramatically change your business, especially when you are able to capture your website visitors effectively. You don’t need the best website, you just need your visitors to CLICK on what you are selling. Google actually explains how to set it up, but is vague on many of the intricate details, that’s why it is so expensive to have someone do it for you.
